ARUBA – OTHER DETAILS

TELEPHONE SERVICES: Dial 011 – 297 from US to Aruba

From Aruba to US – According to Trip Advisor: The cheapest way I’ve ever called the U.S. from Aruba was by purchasing the Ventaha calling card in Aruba. Very inexpensive and easy to use. Most mini-marts at the hotels carry the card, but we recommend you ask The Ritz and they can tell you where to purchase one.

TRANSPORTATION: Taxis and limos only accept CASH, no credit cards. You can use dollars.

TAXI – The taxi ride from the airport to the Ritz is approx. $25 – $30.00 plus luggage handling fees per piece. To download taxi fares, click here.

PRIVATE – Super Limo. This is a smaller private transfer company and has provided timely service in the past. You can order private mini vans ahead of time and they would be waiting at the airport. The drivers will advise the guests that they can pay them cash directly to them. Their number is 297 586 8765. Their cost depends on the number of people and the size of the vehicle.

DRINKING WATER: No need to buy bottled water. Tap water is pure and safe and tastes good!

SERVICE CHARGE AT RESTAURANTS: 10-20%

CURRENCY:
You can use US $ for everything and credit cards for most things (except taxis).
